This project begins with an introduction to enterprise wide data management, its benefits and applications. Then a solution is designed for a Local Education Authority (LEA) admissions process. An ER Diagram and the Data Flow Diagram are modelled, and the assumptions made during the design and development of the solution are listed at this stage. The application is then developed using Oracle Designer 2000. A front end is created using the same, and the table is populated with sample data for testing and evaluation. This is followed by a critical evaluation of the design, describing strengths and weaknesses of the design.
