The paper looks at humanitarian armed interventions as a force that can be sanctioned by the United Nations reviewing the provisions of the UN Charter on the interference in the domestic affairs of another country and the legal roots of humanitarian intervention. Criteria for making a decision about armed intervention are discussed.
