Analysis of findings suggests that vast majority of respondents would prefer pure online bank, which offer current or student accounts with higher interest rate. Considering the research findings, previous studies, market trends and other important factors, conclusion was made that if high degree of commitment would be monitored from the banks online banking would replace the traditional banking in this market segment. However it is impossible to declare when it would take place and to what extend banking industry will have to change to adopt new banking system.

Additionally, we will indicate several opinions regarding the past, the present and the future of e-banking in Greece as compared to the other countries. For the better understanding of that, we will present several tables at the appendix, so as to give a clear picture of the position ofGreek e-banking industry among other European and non-European counties.
