This paper looks at performance during the Wingate anaerobic test (WanT) and maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) pre and post cold water immersion. The paper suggests two hypotheses, and aims to examine which is true. The hypotheses are 1. A reduced muscle temperature (Tmuscle) will have no effect on MVC or performance during WanT. 2. A reduced Tmuscle will have a negative effect on MVC and WanT performance. All of the results are illustrated and discussed in relation to the hypotheses.
KEYWORDS: Performance, Wingate anaerobic test, WanT, maximal voluntary contraction, MVC, pre cold water immersion, post cold water immersion, muscle temperature, Tmuscle!,

WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID
When I got my first coursework I was really shocked, as my tutor wanted me to write something completely new and I had not a clue on how to do it. I looked all over the Internet and found Papers 4 You. Thank God I did!!! I bought 2 papers from them and found that the quality of papers on this web site is very high. I am now a regular customer of Papers 4 You - I have my 10% discount :) This website really helped me to improve my researching and writing skills as well as my grades :-)Denise
