This report aims to determine the appropriate species planting strategies for an area of Menstrie Glen known as Plover Burn. The report objective includes carrying out vegetation sampling and soil assessment of the area and uses two approaches to determine the appropriate species planting strategies: the National Vegetation Classification (NVC) and the Ecological Site Classification (ESC). NVC software provides the habitat type and its class for the best suited grassland and woodland based on the information from the vegetation sampling. There are no references on this paper
