The paper aims to assess if a house at West Haugh Road, Stirling is at risk of large fluvial or high tidal flooding or a combination of both. In order to investigate, an electronic distance meter (EDM) and prism is used to obtain data about the relevant height of the land and distance across the flood plain topography. The indicative flood risk assessment map from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is also used to gauge the potential flood risk in the study area as well as past academic research and reports on the effects of climate change in the area.
