This dissertation focuses on supply chain management (SCM) and in particular green supply-chain management (GSCM). The study begins by introducing the concept of the triple bottom line, as well as discussing the background to SCM. The review of literature examines a very large range of topics in detail, some of which include the significance of green designs, green supply chains, eco-designs, and waste management. The methodology is then assessed, which looks at the philosophy, strategy, limitations, and ethical considerations of the study. The study then outlines the findings from the research, and examines the results to produce recommendations.
