The dissertation investigates the attitudes of Thai consumers towards imitated clothing brands. Literature is reviewed on the theory of consumer behaviour, the ethical aspects of the purchasing decision process, the phenomenon of imitated products and the problem it poses for international businesses and world trade. A study is conducted using the methods of primary research via a questionnaire distributed among different demographical groups of Thai consumers. Conclusions are made about the influence of the demographic factors (i.e. gender, age, occupation and income) on the attitude towards imitation branded clothing in Thai consumers.
