This paper focuses on the perception international students have of pets and pet stores in the UK. The objectives are to understand perception and attitude of international students towards pets, to examine behaviour of international students towards domestic pets or other types of animals which they perceived as pets, and to discover suitable marketing strategies that pet stores can do to market their products more effectively to people from other cultures living in the UK. The review of literature discusses a range of topics, some of which include consumer behavior, pet ownership, and the strategy clock. The research methodology highlights the approach taken and the data collection method used, this is followed by an analysis of the data.
