The dissertation addresses the challenges of cross-cultural project management in the tourism industry conducting a case study of tourism projects for UK tourists in Thailand. The review of literature touches on the theory of project management (PM) in cross-cultural environment. The paper uses primary and secondary research methodology, primary data are obtained via questionnaires distributed among UK travellers in Thailand and interviews with travel agents. Conclusions are made about the attitudes of UK tourists towards Thai tourism management, recommendations are suggested to government agencies about the ways to enhance cross-cultural PM in the tourism industry.
