This paper is split into two sections and focuses on inter-organisational networks. The first section aims to identify the different forms of inter-organisational networks. The three main forms analysed are social networks, information networks, and technological networks. The paper compares and contrasts the different networks, and this section also discusses the scale free model. The second section of the paper aims to test the theories of social networks outlined in the first section. Data has been collected through use of a survey questionnaire which is detailed in the methodology section. The research findings are categorised into four sections before conclusions are made.
