This study focuses on developing a balanced scorecard for China Vanke Co. Limited, currently the largest residential property developer in the People's Republic of China, and shows in detail how it integrates the balanced scorecard into its strategy planning. The paper explains that, rather than using short term financial measurements as a basis for decision-making in business, in contrast, the balanced scorecard system also includes financial and non-financial factors such as customers, internal processes and employees' learning and training within the assessment .
