This dissertation focuses on Coventry University, and aims to assess the impact of the recent changes made to the workplace environment. The objectives are to explore the importance of communication while making changes in the workplace of administrative non-academic staffs, to explore the impact of the recent changes in the working environment on the non-academic staff, and to study factors that motivate the administrative non-academic staffs. The review of literature discusses topics like employee commitment, rewards, benefits, employee performance, and the psychological contract. Aspects of the methodology are described in great detail and questionnaires are used to collate data. The study analyses all of the questionnaire results and conclusions are made regarding recommendations and the limitations of the study.
