This paper examines organizational behaviour theories, in reference to personal experiences. The organization in question is the Voluntary Service Club at a University, and the paper begins by describing the structure of the organization as modern. Two motivational theories are discussed in reference to this study, Mc Clelland’s Theory of Needs and the Goal setting theory by Locke and Latham. The paper concludes by summarising the performance of the club in relation to the theories discussed.
