The paper addresses the issues of leadership and management in British Airways (BA) describing BA history and their autocratic and rigid management. BA environment is analysed using PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT and Burke-Litwin models, BA leadership and management styles are discussed with reference to Adair’s Action-Centred Leadership theory and Johnson & Scholes Cultural Web analysis.
