The paper looks at the methods of internal information management used for decision making known as Management Information System (MIS). MIS components and the issues of MIS implementation are examined. A case study of MIS is conducted in a UK company (whose name is changed for the purpose of confidentiality) identifying MIS inefficiencies and the obstacles to MIS implementation. Recommendations are suggested about the strategies to overcome the existing difficulties and integrate MIS in the business structure of the company.
