The paper examines the concept of post-modernism from the perspective of its pluralistic approach to reality. The study offers a review of literature on the perceptions of reality and the nature of the unconscious applying the theory to the performance style of Robert Wilson's theatre 'The Wooster Group' and analysing his methods of creating 'parallel reality' by juxtaposing dreams and realistic material.
