This literature review focuses on two research papers on the effects of domestic violence on women and children. The papers are ‘Effects of trauma-focused research on recent domestic violence survivors’ by Johnson, L.E. & Benight, C.C. and ‘Trauma symptoms in preschool-age children exposed to domestic violence’ Levendosky, A.A. et al.
