The paper examines the influence of childhood experiences of family roles on the development of a young female juvenile personality, and its subsequent impact on the development of self-esteem. Perceptions of modern young women are compared to those who were young back in the early 1990s. Conclusions are made about the role of social circumstances in the evolution of female leaders.
