The paper addresses the common duty of care stipulated by Occupiers' Liability Acts of 1957 and 1984 discussing them with regard to the safety of child visitors to occupiers’ premises, and examining whether an occupier will be less liable in the case of very small children trespassing on their property. Both legislations are compared making references to related case law and discussing how Act 1984 has modified the preceding legislation.
