This dissertation discusses Turkish relations with Saudi Arabia since the rise of Islamists. This paper discusses liberalism and the state in great detail, and this is followed by the review of literature. The methodology is provided, and data is collected through use of secondary data analysis. The study then discusses the transition form imperial hegemony to sovereign independence (1745-1918). Turkish-Saudi relations during 1923-2002, and between 2002-2010) are discussed. Political, economic, and cultural manifestations are all discussed, and the paper then examines all of the results of the study.
