This paper aims to examine different research methods used to carry out primary research. The paper begins by presenting an overview of different research methods, and follows with an analysis of the different methods. The paper examines different types of interviews, the advantages and disadvantages of interviews, the ways in which interview data can be analyzed, and the reasons why interviews are used. The same analysis is done for the questionnaire method of data collection. The paper then performs a brief analysis of observations and case studies.
