This detailed proposal is for a study on setting up inclusive primary schools in Nigeria for children with disabilities. The study is justified, and the papers aims are to explore the current conditions of children living with disabilities, and educational difficulties, in Nigeria, to evaluate the different programmes, standards and regulations that are currently being implemented in Nigeria in relation to children with disabilities, to examine the challenges and barriers that are present in Nigeria and that might affect the setting up of an inclusive educational system in Nigeria for children with disabilities, and to recommend different actions and strategies that could be implemented to overcome these challenges and barriers to create a school in Nigeria, that is inclusive for children with disabilities. The proposal outlines the proposed literature review, as well as the plan for the methodology. The data analysis sections, as well as the ethical considerations sections are discussed, followed by the project timetable.
