This dissertation focuses on creating a multi media system for learning a foreign language. The study has a wide variety of aims, some of which are to implement a functioning electronic prototype model, to identify a suitable Multimedia design methodology, and to develop a test plan and user guide. The review of literature discusses topics like e-learning and developing suitable websites for teaching languages. This is followed by the methodology, which identifies the research methods used to develop the study. The dissertation then looks at tools and techniques, system requirements as well as the design and testing stages of the process. The study evaluates the prototype developed, and this is followed by an overview of recommendations for the study in its entirety.
