This paper examines organisational behaviour and stress, focusing on theories by Friedman and Rosenman (1974). The paper begins by highlighting theories of personality types in accordance to the theorists mentioned, and follows with a definition of stress. The way stress effects health is then discussed. Weaknesses in Friedman and Rosenman’s study are examined, and alternatives for future research are presented.
