The paper examines the use of information technology (IT) in the process of human resource (HR) recruitment identifying the features of e-recruitment and conducting a case study of the HR e-recruitment practices used by Royal Opera House (ROH). The benefits and weaknesses of e-recruitment are highlighted, the integration of HRM and business strategy is discussed. Recommendations are suggested about the use of IT approaches in the recruitment process.
