The dissertation investigates the role of digital social networks (DSN) in the process of human resource (HR) recruitment. Literature is reviewed on the theory of social networking, the features of digital online (virtual) communities, the prospects for using DSN in business and HRM, etc. The paper uses the methods of qualitative research based on secondary data and primary data collected from interviews with HR managers. SWOT analysis of DSN in HR recruitment is performed making conclusions about DSN effectiveness as a tool for recruitment.
