This dissertation aims to examine employee benefit programmes, and assesses the theoretical and empirical implications of employing such programmes. The study uses British Telecom (BT) as a case study, and discusses the ways in which these programmes affect employee attitude and behaviour. The review of literature discusses topics like employee benefit programmes, employees’ perception about the benefits programmes, stakeholder agency theory, and equity theory. The methodology is provided in detail and survey questionnaires are used to collect data. The study then examines all of the findings thoroughly.
