The paper proposes to examine the relationship between performance appraisals and employees motivation in Saudi Arabia. Literature is reviewed on Saudi traditional values and business culture, the difference in workforce mentality between Saudi and Western work force, management issues in SA companies, the most common methods of appraisal, etc. The methods of the proposed research are described including secondary data and quantitative analysis of the primary data to be obtained from questionnaires distributed among employees and managers of a Saudi Telecom Company Mobily.
