This is a proposal for a study on the relationship between employee motivation, performance and customer motivation at Etihad Airways. The aims of the study are to explore the relationship between employee motivation and customer satisfaction and to find the extent to which employee motivation affects customer satisfaction in Etihad Airways. The plan for the review of literature is detailed, and the study aims to review a range of topics some of which include Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, McGregor’s Theory X and Y, and employee motivation and performance. The research methods that are to be used are discussed, and this is followed by the timetable of activity as well as ethical considerations.
