The dissertation addresses the issues of employee recruitment in not-for-profit organisations investigating public sector motivation (PSM) principles. Literature is reviewed on the theory of PSM including theoretic approaches to job satisfaction, i.e. person-job fit, person-organisation fit, the importance of recruitment, etc. The methodology is based on secondary research including quantitative content analysis of 96 job advertisements. Conclusions are made about the presentation of PSM culture in job advertisements and its relevance for job seekers.
