The dissertation investigates the influence of human resource management (HRM) practices on the individual performance and organisational outcome of the pharmaceutical companies in India. The Introduction provides the rationale for the research subject choice describing the situation within Indian pharmaceutical industry and related HRM issues. The review of literature touches on the theory of HRM including strategic HRM, HRM tools and practices, etc. The methods of the research are based on qualitative and quantitative analysis including statistic analysis of the primary data obtained via an online questionnaire.
