This dissertation focuses on the Indian IT industry and aims to assess the problem of attrition in the sector. The study begins by presenting an overview of the industry as well as reasons for high attrition levels. The review of literature examines a wide range of topics, some include sources of employee turnover, the cost of employee turnover, and retention strategies.
