The dissertation addresses the problem of gender inequality in the workplace examining the position of women as senior managers in the financial sector. A case study is conducted of equal opportunities and work-life balance policies at Financial-Co. Literature is reviewed on the position of women in the labour market, career barriers for women in management professions, the features of an ideal manager, self-limitations of women in professional careers, etc. The methods of research are based on secondary data obtained through literature and personnel records of women in management, and primary data collected via semi-structured interviews with the company's women employees. Conclusions are made about the policies of the organisation towards women managers.
