This paper performs a strategic analysis of Hewlett-Packard, a multinational information communication technology organisation. The paper begins with a PESTLE and Porters five forces analysis, and follows with an examination of the opportunities and threats facing the organisation. An analysis of the internal environment is carried out and looks at their core competencies, strengths and weaknesses. This section makes use of the Boston Growth Matrix (BGM) and Peteraf’s four corner stones. A development strategy is then provided using the Ansoff matrix, and the power/interest matrix is used to discuss the stakeholders.
