This paper discusses change in corporate culture due to globalised business environments. The introduction discusses general topics relating to change and corporate culture. The paper surveyed 10 managers from 10 companies in order to evaluate the pressure that change can cause, and the way in which management responds this. The results from the survey are discussed, and the main issues raised were suspicion of the advice from experts, reliability, predictability, and a need for partnership. These are all discussed, and the paper then provides recommendations to help solve the issues. Conclusions are made regarding the importance of corporate culture, and the paper outlines the ways it can support and act as a barrier.
