The paper examines the impact of national and organisational culture on the establishment of a Danish company Dancom in Russia. Hofstede's cultural dimensions are used including the power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism versus collectivism, masculinity versus femininity, and long-term versus short-term orientation. Theoretical underpinnings are applied to the experience of Dancom in Russia.
