The second section examines the internet and technological advances in computing power and communication. This section discusses the provision of domestic and global banking products and services, as well as the degree of competition in the world’s financial markets. Domestic and global financial system reforms are also examined. The final section concentrates on regulatory reforms, and aims to assess how they can be seen as important in reshaping financial services. The way in which they can be seen as a reaction to other forces of change is also discussed.
