This dissertation aims to assess whether contemporary online and mobile banking in the UK meets the demands of customers. The objectives are to identify the key strengths and weaknesses of the contemporary on-line and mobile banking in the UK, to analyse consumer attitudes towards the contemporary on-line and mobile banking in the UK in the dimensions of security, usability, trust and commitment, and to provide recommendations to improve the existing imperfections in the UK on-line and mobile banking. The review of literature discusses topics regarding the evolution of on-line and mobile banking in the UK, the strengths and weaknesses of the banking, and the various aspects of consumer attitudes to on-line and mobile banking. Data is collected through use of surveys, which is outlined in the methodology sector. This is then followed by an analysis of all of the data, and conclusions are made regarding limitations and recommendations. This study comes with the statistical results from the survey.
