This paper examines digital signal processors (DSP). The paper aims to draw a block diagram of the proposed system identifying main components, to design a system that should accept an audio signal as an input, with 16 bits resolution at samples rate up to 96 KHz, and to implement a symmetric FIR filter for audio filters for effects, equalization and processing. The paper begins by providing the background to the system, and follows by fulfilling the objectives of the paper.
