The paper examines the patterns of seasonal behaviour and trends in passenger movements by sea from the UK to France over 1979-2010 analysing in-sample data series, calculating the seasonal index, and presenting time series forecasts using decomposition method, Holt’s method based on deseasonalized data and Holt-Winter’s method. The accuracy of the forecasts is evaluated. The paper has no references.
