This dissertation aims to assess whether the UK will benefit from adopting the Euro and by joining the Euro zone. The objectives are to explore the reasons for joining the Euro zone, to explore the disadvantage of accepting Euro by the UK, and to make recommendations to the government based on critical assessment of the advantages and disadvantages. The review of literature discusses topics like the theory of momentary integration, reasons for joining the Euro Zone, and reasons against joining. The methodology section is provided, and the case study approach is used to collect data. All of the findings are analyzed, and the study concludes with a summary of the results along with the limitations of the study and future recommendations.
