This dissertation aims to investigate how determinants of online shopping consumer’s satisfaction are applicable for luxury fashion goods. The objectives of the study are to draw on the literature of customers’ satisfaction with online shopping experience to derive a model of consumers’ satisfaction with luxury fashion goods online shopping experience, to investigate consumers’ satisfaction with their online luxury fashion shopping experience, and to identify the determinants of consumers’ satisfaction with buying luxury fashion goods online and make a comparison with those for online purchase of non luxury products. The dissertation then provides the back ground to the study, which is followed by the review of literature. The review discusses topics like customer satisfaction, security, trust, merchandising, entertainment, luxury brand perception, and customer service. Data for this study was collected through secondary literature analysis and focus groups. The study analyses all of the data collected, and the paper concludes with a discussion regarding the objectives of the study and areas of future research.
