The dissertation looks at the benefits and challenges of mobile and online banking reviewing academic literature on the Internet banking technology, consumers’ behaviour towards new technology, social and cognitive factors behind learning behaviour, the growing adoption of mobile banking caused by the proliferation of smart phones, etc. A study is conducted of mobile banking services in Singapore. The methodology of the dissertation is based on secondary research and primary research performed via questionnaires. Conclusions are made about the gap between the international mobile banking services and local mobile banking services in Singapore. The objectives of the study are to examine what customers think of using mobile commerce and risks inherited within mobile commerce environment, investigate the behaviour of customers towards mobile commerce services when they make a decision to buy products and services via their mobile devices with a support from wireless internet connection, discover factors that can be used by companies to gain trust from customers when they integrate mobile commerce into their strategic business plan, and to develop possible strategies that should be done and implemented by retail firms in order to make their mobile commerce services more reliable and safer for users. This project investigates M-Commerce in light of the .NET Framework. The early chapters include substantial research into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and in particular, Sales Force Automation. This means that they must collect orders on paper and then input the sales data into the company database back at the office.
