This dissertation examines how e-procurement has impacted the development of international business law. The dissertation provides the background to the topic followed by a discussion on the importance and definition of E-procurement, an evaluation of e-procurement models and the relationship it has with the property rights theory. E-MRO and ERP are defined, and the paper highlights the processes of E-procurement. The way in which e-procurement relates to other forms of procurement, and the benefits and problems with the process. E-procurement and developing countries are evaluated, using Arab countries as an example. The Arab countries are compared to the position in the EU, and the dissertation suggests ways that they can improve their understanding of e-procurement. The paper suggests the ways in which challenges relating to e-procurement can be solved.
