The paper addresses the issues associated with e-voting security evaluating biometric methods of e-voting in the UK, i.e. finger prints and facial recognition. The usability and reliability of biometric systems is evaluated, public attitudes towards the biometric-enabled e-voting are considered, possible solutions to security and repudiation requirements of e-voting are discussed, vulnerabilities of Security Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols are outlined.
