The paper presents a proposal for the development of secure Internet Voting System (IVS) expressing concerns about the current system of general elections in the UK and explaining the benefits and disadvantages of IVS. Security issues of a web based IVS are addressed identifying threats to its web applications and suggesting security solutions. The plan of the IVS project implementation is presented.
