The dissertation investigates e-business strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) using a case study of Stanian Business Consulting (SBC) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their e-strategy. The company’s details are presented, the background of e-business adoption in the UK is described. Literature is reviewed on the development of e-commerce, the role of the Internet in gaining competitive advantage by companies, the theory of e-business strategies and models, etc. The methodology of the research employs a case study approach including primary data obtained from interviews with owner-managers of Stanian and the analysis of the company’s e-business along the lines of the marketing mix 7P model. Conclusions are made about the e-business strategies of Stanian proposing to introduce a hybrid business model and suggesting recommendations about their branding strategies.
