This dissertation focuses on the barriers to the adoption of e-business strategies construction SME’s in the UAE and UK. The study aims to identify the barriers to adoption of e – business strategies faced by construction SMEs in the UAE, to identify the barriers to adoption of e – business strategies faced by construction SMEs in the UK, to determine and analyse the underlying reasons for the differences (if any) in the barriers to adoption of e – business strategies faced by construction SMEs in the UK and UAE, and to recommend measures for overcoming the identified barriers and promote e – business adoption in construction SMEs in the two regions.
