The paper offers a research proposal into the differences between national cultural aspects of customer complaints in English and Spanish holidaymakers. A review of literature on cross-cultural awareness and service quality theory is suggested using the SERVQUAL model as a research instrument. The methods of research include a case study approach underpinned by an interpretivist epistemology, the ethical issues of the study are addressed.
